SAN MARCOS, Calif—After one day of play at the 2007 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships, the University of Mobile Lady Rams find themselves in 5th place and only 5 strokes off the pace.

 

Oklahoma City and British Columbia find themselves tied for 1st after carding round-1 scores of 314, while the Lady Rams shot a collective 319 to finish 31 strokes over par.

 

Kelly Rainbolt is leading the way for Mobile, after firing a 75 in the opening round to place 4th amongst individual scores. Maegan Rice finished with a 78, Samantha Goettsch shot an 82, Carlie Bloomer shot a 84, and Meghan Dove rounded out the group with a 97.
