Pace, Fla.-After posting an opening round score of 348 on Monday morning, the Spring Hill College women’s golf team posted a 347 on Tuesday to finish the Bubba Watson Invitational with a combined 695 (+119) to finish in seventh place out of nine schools.  The match was the Lady Badgers first of the year.
 

Freshman Victoria Gonzalez of Miami, Fla., shot a team best 167 (+23) over the two-day event to finish 13th out of 48 participants.
 
In addition to Gonzalez, seniors Mackensie Jimison of Placeville, Calif., shot 170 (+26, 17th) and Jamie Mercurio of Cleveland, Ohio, shot 174 (+30, 22nd). Sophomore Jasmine Bowers from Mobile took four strokes off her previous days total to finish at 184 (+40, 36th) and senior Adrienne Roberts of St. Louis, Mo., slashed her opening day 98 by eight strokes to close with a 188 (+44, 40th). 

The Lady Badgers play again on October 7-9 at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships to be held at the Azalea City Golf Club in Mobile.
