The Belhaven College Blazers Baseball
Team (23-10, 13-8) dropped a tight ballgame to Berry College on
Tuesday by a score 0f 2-3. The game lasted only 7 innings due to Berry playing a
game earlier in the day.
Brian Legnon (5-4) took the complete game loss. Legnon pitched 6 1/3 innings, giving up 3 earned runs, striking out 5.
Joe Scalzo and Brent Hudson provided to only RBIs on the day for the Blazers. Scalzo's came on a solo homerun. Other Blazers with hits on the day were Blaise King (1-3), Charlie Edwards (1-3, double, run scored), Reg Ott (1-3, double), and Brian McCormick (1-3).
The Blazers will stay in Thomasville and face Thomas University tomorrow at 3:00 PM central time for those of you listening on the internet.
