HATTIESBURG, MS- William Carey softball celebrated senior day on Thursday in grand fashion routing Judson College 11-0 in both games of the doubleheader.

Carey seniors Shelly Berry, Leah Kilpatrick, Joy Cavenaugh, Devin King, Megan Pittman, and Brittany were simply outstanding at the plate on Thursday as they combined to go 12 for 24 with two double, three triples, twelve runs, eight RBI, and six walks. Ladner also tossed a one hitter in game one to improve to 12-2 on the season.

In game two, sophomore Melanie Bush fired a no hitter for the Lady Crusaders to finish off the sweep.

Carey returns to GCAC play on Saturday as they take on Belhaven College. First pitch is set for 1:00 pm at Joseph and Nancy Fail Field.
