Clinton, MS- #13 William Carey University belted three home runs on their way to 6-0 victory over Belhaven College in the 2008 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.

 

The Lady Crusaders used the long ball very effective on Friday night as Leah Kilpatrick and Shelly Berry each belted solo shots in the first and third innings while Pam Martin iced the game with a three run homer in the sixth.

 

Starter Devin King was again outstanding for the Lady Crusaders. King scattered five hits and recorded three strikeouts in a complete game effort.

 

With the win Carey will take on #5 Mobile tomorrow. Carey and Mobile split their regular season series. First pitch is scheduled for 12:15 pm at Traceway Park in Clinton, MS.
