Shreveport, La. – LSUS catcher Andrew Brouillette, a local product from Benton High School, has been named to the All-Region XIII Team following his outstanding freshman season this year for the Pilots.  

Brouillette helped lead the Pilots to their third consecutive GCAC Tournament championship and an appearance in the Region XIII Tournament finals, while posting a .410 batting average. 

Brouillette led the Pilots at the plate this year in hits (82), walks (44), total bases (128) and on-base percentage (.526), while also finishing second on the team in doubles (18) and home runs (8). 

Brouillette's on-base percentage and walks total rank him third all-time on the school's single-season record list.

In addition to his All-Region selection, Brouillette was also named to the All-GCAC team following the season, while being twice named the GCAC Player of the Week during the regular season.
