Campeaux, a right-handed pitcher and infielder from St. Paul's, was an All-District Honorable Mention selection in 2008. He struck out a career high 15 hitters in a game this past season. During his time with the Wolves, Campeaux helped lead St. Paul's to two district championships.
Delahoussaye comes to Loyola from Terrebonne High where he led the Tigers to a playoff appearance in 2006. He was a second team All-District player in 2007 and 2008. He had a career .350 batting average with 30 RBI and 24 runs scored. Delahoussaye was a All-State Academic Selection in baseball.
David, a 5-11 infielder from West Feliciana High, is a three time All-District selection and helped advance the Saints to the State Quarterfinals. David hit .617 is district play. He also earned All-District honors in football and soccer at West Feliciana.
Walsh, a 6-0 left handed pitcher, comes to Loyola after spending two seasons at Ancilla College in Michigan. At Ancilla, Walsh saw action in the outfield and on the mound for the Chargers. Last season, he hit .319 with a team high 26 RBI. Prior to Ancilla, Walsh played at Western High School in Kokomo, Indiana, and lettered three years for the Panthers. He was an All-Mid Indiana Conference selection in 2005. He had a combined 7-1 record his final two years of high school with a county best 1.40 ERA in his senior season.
Comments from Coach Cassard: "We expect these four guys to come in and compete right away. We have 15 new players coming in this season, so we're hoping for competition at each position. We feel that this group of for can definitely add to that battle."
