HOOVER, Ala. - The Spring Hill College Lady Badgers finished 7th of eight teams with a time of 2:02:13.70 over the 5,000 meter course at the Great American Cross Country Fest at Veterans Park in Hoover, Ala..

Freshman Kate Imwalle from McGill-Toolen Catholic in Mobile ran the school's 7th best time over a 5-kilometer course at 19:40.5.  Other SHC women runners were Cici Venker 24:43.1 (42nd), Maggie Meier 24:56.3 (43rd), Ashley Derenbecker 25:36.6 (45th), Gussie Altman 27:17.2 (50th) and Kari Wolfe 27:28.2 (51st).

Spring Hill will run again this Saturday at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open in Clinton, Miss.
