MOBILE, Ala. - The Spring Hill College men's basketball team defeated Southeastern Bible College 94-70 on Friday night to even its record at 2-2 on the season.

The Badgers led 45-34 at halftime and continued to build on that advantage throughout the second half.

Four Badgers reached double digit scoring as junior guard Marcus Coleman of Mobile's Mary G. Montgomery High scored 24 points, sophomore center Nick Brown from Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., scored 18, senior guard Jeremy Price from Dallas, Texas, scored 16, and freshman Chris Dees, Jr., of Picayune, Miss., scored 10 points.

The Badgers shot 47% (39-83) from the field, including 52% (11-21) from 3-point territory.  Coleman alone was six of eight from long-distance. 

The Badgers out-rebounded their visitors from Birmingham 53 to 34 and took away 11 steals.

The Sabers (1-6) suffered their sixth consecutive loss and were led by Demetrius Coates with 20 points and Mondrea McCray had six rebounds.  The Badgers held the Sabers to 40% (26-65) from the field and 32% (10-31) in 3-point shots.

Spring Hill will travel to Birmingham on Monday to face Samford University at 7 p.m.
