Tougaloo, MS-The Tougaloo College Bulldogs hosted the Comets of Crichton College tonight here in Kroger Gymnasium.  Both teams entered the contest with an undefeated record, but the Bulldogs would come out still undefeated as they handed Crichton its first loss of the season.  The Bulldogs defeated Crichton 86-66.
 
The Bulldogs came out blazing as they took an impressive 25-11 lead early in the first half and the Bulldogs would not look back as they maintained the lead for the entire duration of the contest.  Leading the Bulldogs was Jeremy Cable, ending the night with a game-high 27 points, 9 rebounds.  Jermaine Hodges had an impressive night as he had his third double-double of the season, ending the night with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists.  Walter Howard tacked in 11 points. 
 
The Bulldogs will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Jackson, TN to participate in the Lambuth University Tournament.  The Bulldogs will face off against host school Lambuth University on Friday night at 7:00 P.M. and will take on Freed Hardeman Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
