Hattiesburg, Miss. - The Loyola University track and field team finished their outdoor season by participating in the Golden Eagle Classic on April 25 at the campus of Southern Miss.

For the men, freshman Angel Perdomo took 5^th place in the 400m with a time of 1:02.39. Perdomo's best time for the season was a 1:02 flat last weekend at LSU.

 

Robert Hayden and Adam Mayon, also freshmen, finished 4^th and 5^th in the 5000m for the Wolfpack. Hayden finished with a time of 20:27 while Mayon ran at 22:22. Hayden's best time this season was 19:57 in Baton Rouge. Mayon ran a season best 19:58, also in Baton Rouge. 

 

Sophomore Rachel Leonard finished 8^th in the women's 800m with a time of 2:58.70. Leonard's best time this season was a 2:40 mark which was earlier this season in Hattiesburg.
