MOBILE, Ala.- Sophomore Kate Imwalle from Mobile's McGill-Toolen Catholic High School ran the 7th best 5-kilometer time in SHC women's cross country history to lead the Lady Badgers to a first place finish at the University of Mobile Rampage on Saturday morning.
 
Imwalle clocked a time of 17:11.43 and won the Rampage's individual title for the second consecutive year.

Junior Blakely Duhé, also from McGill-Toolen, placed second overall with the 9th best time in SHC history of 19:23.81.

Spring Hill scored 32 total points running a total time of 1:45:18.87 with an average time of 21:03.78. 

Other competitors for SHC were senior Kayla Fox (6 points) from Dothan, Ala., at 21:40.98, sophomore Lynne Fritscher (10 points) of Covington, La., at 21:57.37, freshman Kiearstan Carter (13 points) from Murphy High with a time of 22:57.18, junior Ceci Venker of St. Louis (14 points) at 23:19.98, and sophomore Emily Stewart (15 points) from Mt. Juliet, Tenn., at 23:24.12.

Spring Hill runners that did not score included sophomore Ashley Derenbecker (17th of 31 runners) from Bay St. Louis, Miss., at 25:08.24, Devanne Piccini (21st) from Grand Bay, Ala., at 26:11.67, junior Lizzie Coppejans (22nd) of McGill-Toolen at 26:39.16, and freshman Julie Sellers (26th) from Lafayette, La., at 27:26.99.

SHC next runs at the GCAC Championships on Saturday, November 7, in Clinton, Miss.
