The game got off to a quick start for the Pilots as Marcos Carrillo scored at the 9th minute to give LSUS a 1-0 lead. The Pilots got another crisp goal from Zach Kelly as he scored at the 25th minute of play. This gave LSUS a 2-0 advantage at the half.
Down by two goals, the Badgers came out roaring in the second half with a goal just 52 seconds into the second half to cut the Pilot's lead to 2-1.
LSUS calmly regained control of the game and at the 71st minute, Chance Naderi broke away from the defender and beat Spring Hill's keeper in a one on one situation to give the Pilot's a two goal cushion with 19 minutes to play.
LSUS controlled the ball and kept Spring Hill off the board for the final 19 minutes and got the victory 3-1 over the Badgers.
With this win, the LSUS Pilots advance to face William Carey University, the 10th ranked team in NAIA, on Friday in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The winner of this game will move on to the Conference Tournament Championship Game.
