KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the pairings for the 2009 Men's Soccer National Championship Opening Round Sunday.

The University of Mobile will travel to Daytona Beach, Fla. to battle No. 4 seed Embry-Riddle Saturday, Nov. 21.

The winners from the 15 National Championship Opening Round games will advance along with host school Fresno Pacific to the National Championship final site NOv. 30 - Dec. 5 in Fresno, Calif.

Mobile (9-10) is making its 13th appearance at nationals, including the third straight trip. The Rams have advanced to the Final Four six times, winning it all in 2002.

Embry-Riddle (12-3-4) is making its 7th trip, including six trips in the past seven years. Embry-Riddle and Mobile have a recent history, as the Eagles knocked Mobile out of the National Championship two years ago, and the Rams beat them 1-0 in Mobile this season.

The Eagles out shot Mobile 16-11 in that game, but Mobile won the game on a David Maddren goal in the 65th minute.

The 18th-ranked Eagles have not lost since dropping a 2-0 game to Flagler on Sept. 30. Since, they have gone 6-0-3. They have shutout opponents eight times and held them to one goal on nine other occasions, allowing more than one goal only twice.

Mobile is on a season-best four-game winning streak, outscoring opponents 12-2 in that stretch that includes wins over No. 23 Belhaven and No. 9 William Carey. In the 15 games prior to this four game stretch, Mobile had scored only 15 goals.
