KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2009 NAIA Women's Soccer All-America Teams Saturday, and the University of Mobile Lady Rams had two players honored.

Missy Stovall and Anna Maddox were named Honorable Mention All-Americans. There are three teams in addition to an honorable mention list. Maddox, a junior goalkeeper from Auburn, Ala., is a two-time NAIA All-American.

Maddox started 19 games in goal for Mobile, finishing with 4 shutouts.

Stovall, a freshman forward from San Antonio, Texas, started 21 games for Mobile and tallied 17 goals and 2 assists to finish with 36 points.

Mobile finished the season with a 10-10-1 record and made it all the way to the NAIA Unaffiliated Finals before falling to William Carey, one game shy of qualifying for the NAIA National Championship.

Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes Released

Maddox was also Mobile's lone-representative on the list of 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes. To be named a scholar athlete you have to be a junior or senior and have at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 grade scale.
