New Orleans, La. - The SUNO Knights have made it three wins in a row with a 62-54 victory over the Spring Hill Badgers in The Castle on Monday night. Looking much more cohesive than they have looked earlier in the season, the Knights will host the Mobile Rams on Thursday night.

The best the Badgers (10-11, 4-8) could do was tie the game 40-40 with 9:31 left in the game. SUNO (9-11, 4-8) got off to a fast start, jumping ahead 21-15 with 5:39 left in the first half. After Spring Hill tied the game late in the second half, SUNO slowly pulled away. The Knights pulled away for the final time when they took a 57-47 lead with 1:53 left.

The difference makers came in improved second half shooting for SUNO as well as 21 turnovers by Spring Hill. After shooting 29% from the field, SUNO improved to shooting 53% in the second half.

Both Lionel Green and Brent Leduff led the Knights in scoring with 18 points. Green, however, led in rebounds with 7, while Leduff led in assists with 8. He also led the team with 5 steals on the night.

Spring Hill was led in scoring by Nick Brown with 16. Marcus Coleman had 12 points while Owen McNally contributed 11 points. Coleman led the Badgers in rebounds with 6.
