MOBILE, Ala. - The Spring Hill College men's golf team won the SHC Badger Invitational held on the Spring Hill College Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday finishing 1st of 13 teams.
 

The Badgers found themselves in 3rd place after shooting 313 on Monday, but rallied to take the tournament's crown with a 304 on Tuesday for a final combined score of 617.

Spring Hill's scores just nipped rival the University of Mobile that shot a 619 (309, 310) and 3rd place finisher and 8th ranked Lindenwood University who shot 626 (308, 318).

Individually, Erik Hilde of Faulkner University was the winner with a score of 150 (78, 72) and the Badgers' Will Loweth, a senior from Houston, Texas, came in tied for 2nd with a score of 151 (78, 73) as did Mobile's Cameron Smith (74, 77) and William Carey University's Matt Hungerman (77, 74).

The Badgers will next play at the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships in Hattiesburg, Miss., on April 13-14.
