SHC (4-3, 3-2 GCAC) trailed 2-1 after the doubles matches managing to win on the No. 2 courts when junior Paige Malone of Louisville, Ky., and junior Alex Tovar of Miami, Fla., took an 8-1 win. In singles, the Badgers and the Crusaders (7-3, 5-2 GCAC) split the six matches evenly with WCU taking Courts 1-3 and SHC winning Courts 4-6.
SHC next hosts NCAA Division III opponent LeTourneau University from Texas on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.
