Roch'e, a junior forward from New Orleans, LA, led Belhaven in scoring and rebounding with 13.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game respectively. Roch'e knocked down 56.5 percent of his field goal opportunities, had a team high 46 blocked shots and 10 double doubles. Roch'e was fourth in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in both rebounds per game and shooting percentage.
Belhaven just completed the best season in school history compiling an overall record of 24-10 which was the most wins ever by a Blazer team and the first 20 plus win season since 1978. Belhaven made just their second appearance in the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship Tournament with the first coming in 1972.
