Last season, Collins was named GCAC Co-Freshman of the Year along with LSUS's center Derrick Parker, who received GCAC Player of the Year this season along with being selected to the All-American First Team.  Collins came to Tougaloo as a freshman from Madison Central High School last season and helped the Bulldogs to a regular season championship and the "Sweet Sixteen" of the national tournament.  Collins has definitely made a name for himself in the Bulldogs' basketball program and he looks forward to next season.
