Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven baseball team cracked the NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll when it was announced by the NAIA on Tuesday afternoon. The Blazers jumped from the receiving vote's category in the preseason poll to the number 16 spot in this week's poll.

Belhaven owns an overall record of 26-9 through the first 35 games this season. The Blazers are coming off a tough weekend that saw them drop three out of four games against Gulf Coast Athletic Conference rival LSU-Shreveport. However, Belhaven earned a Maloney Series win over Millsaps College last week and remain in first place in the GCAC standings at 17-5. LSUS is ranked 18th in this week's poll.

Belhaven plays at NCAA Division II Delta State University on Tuesday night and Union University Wednesday night at Smith-Wills Stadium. The Blazers have the Easter holiday weekend off.
