NATCHITOCHES, La. - Senior Trenese Smith was named as a second team selection for the All-Louisiana women's basketball team announced by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.

Smith garnered all-state honors for the fourth time in her career and made second team for the second straight season. Smith, Loyola's all-time leading scorer with 2,439 career points, led the GCAC in scoring at 17.1 points per game.

Along with being named All-Louisiana, Smith took home several awards as a senior, being name NAIA All-American, WBCA All-American, and All-GCAC.
