MONROE, La. - Loyola University New Orleans men's basketball player
Ryan Brock was named second team All-Louisiana as selected by the
Louisiana Sports Writers
Association.
While leading the GCAC in scoring and ranking eighth in the NAIA, Brock, a native of New Orleans, was also Louisiana's top scorer at 21.2 points per game. He eclipsed the 1,000 point plateau in only his second season and is 15th on the Loyola career scoring list with 1,150 points.
Brock, a junior forward, has now made second team all-state in both seasons at Loyola and became the first player in Wolfpack history to be named to one of the three NAIA All-American teams, taking third team honors.
