Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven baseball team jumped four spots to number 11 in the latest NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll when it was announced by the NAIA on Tuesday afternoon.

Belhaven owns an overall record of 30-11 and are 19-6 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. The Blazers went 3-1 this past week with a pair of wins over Spring Hill College and a 13-10 victory against Mississippi College who was ranked 5th in the latest NCAA Division III Top 25 Poll. The win over the Choctaws locked down the 2010 Maloney Series Title which is contested each season between Belhaven, Millsaps College, and Mississippi College. The Blazers have a one game lead over LSU-Shreveport in the GCAC standings. The Pilots moved up to 13th from 16th in this week's NAIA Top 25 Poll.

Belhaven will return to action at Smith-Wills Stadium on Thursday night as they host Millsaps College in a Maloney Series game beginning at 6:00 PM. All the play-by-play action can be heard via Stretch Internet through Belhaven athletics website starting with the pregame show at 5:45 PM.
