NEW ORLEANS, La. -The Loyola University New Orleans women's tennis team hosted LSU-Shreveport on Sunday at the Goldring Tennis Center and came away with an 8-1 victory.

Claire Landry/Katie Beargie won for Loyola (4-10, 4-8 GCAC) in No.1 doubles 8-3. They both also picked up victories in singles action with Landry shutting out her opponent 6-0, 6-0 while Beargie won 6-0, 6-1.

Hannah Neal/France Bonnin blanked LSUS (1-12, 1-12 GCAC) in their doubles match, 8-0, and Rachel Crump/Frances Sweeney came away with an 8-2 win.

Loyola returns to action on April 30 in the GCAC Tournament at the UNO Tennis Courts in New Orleans.
