All players that wear their uniform will receive free admission to Saturday's games in addition to two adults with each player.
The Pilots hosted a clinic earlier in the year for Shreveport Little League and the Opening Ceremonies for Shreveport Dixie at Pilot Field to kick off their season back on Monday night, April 4th.
"It was exciting to host the opening ceremonies at our park. We consider it an honor for Dixie to let us host their big event at the beginning of the year; we hope that this becomes an annual event. Coach Brent Porche did a fine job this year coordinating each event with the youth leagues," said LSUS head coach, Rocke Musgraves.
The first game of the series will be on Friday night against the Mobile Rams at 6:30 p.m. as the LSUS' Staff Senate has their annual tailgate party beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Games two and three will be played as a double header on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Saturday's double feature will be Senior Day in addition to Youth Baseball Day as the Pilots will honor a total of nine seniors.
Earlier in the season the Pilots took two of three from Mobile in Alabama.
The Pilots enter the final weekend half a game behind the Blazers of Belhaven University for first place in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. LSU Shreveport must win one more game this weekend than Belhaven to claim their second GCAC regular season title. Belhaven is on the road versus the Loyola Wolfpack.
