Kansas City, MO-The Belhaven baseball team moved up one spot to number 10 in the latest NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll when it was announced by the NAIA on Tuesday afternoon.

Belhaven owns an overall record of 39-13 following a 4-0 week in final four games of the regular season. The Blazers topped Bethel University 8-0 in the midweek game and then swept a three game Gulf Coast Athletic Conference series at Loyola University over the weekend to claim the GCAC regular season championship. Belhaven finished with a conference mark of 26-7, a half game better than LSU-Shreveport in the standings. The Pilots stayed at number 12 in this week's NAIA Top 25 Poll and have an overall record of 42-10.

Belhaven kicks off the GCAC tournament this week by playing the winner of Wednesday's play-in game between Loyola and Tougaloo on Thursday night at 6:00 PM. The Blazers are the number one seed in this year's tournament on the strength of winning the regular season conference championship.
