The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced
today that the winner of the 2010 ThomasHowellCup is Belhaven University.
The ThomasHowellCup is awarded to the school with the highest number
of points based on the order of finish in the various sports they
participate in. This marks the first time the Blazers have won the
coveted trophy. The following are the standings for this year:
1) Belhaven - 49 points
2) Mobile - 46 points
3) Xavier - 40 points
4) Spring Hill - 39.5 points
4) William Carey - 39.5 points
6) Loyola - 30.5 points
7) LSUS - 28 points
8) Tougaloo - 18 points
9) SUNO - 15.5 points
10) Dillard - 13 points
