Men's Cross Country - Mon, Sep. 26, 2011
New Orleans, La. - SUNO's Monicah Jepkemboi has been named the GCAC's women's Runner of the Week for the week of September 25th.  Jepkemboi finished 14th in a field of 76 runners at the LSU Invitational with a time of 23 minutes, 53 seconds.  She was first among her NAIA peers on the day.

Jepkemboi has enjoyed a successful career as a Lady Knight.  Last year she was named an all-conference runner and competed in the NAIA national meet in Vancouver, Washington.  The native Kenyan made yet another impression when she came in 1st place in the 800, 1500, and 5000 meter runs at the 2011 GCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
