The Fisk University Lady Bulldogs end losing streak versus Cumberland   Despite being on a long losing streak, Fisk Univeristy coach Wendy Majors believes her team is headed in the right direction. In last weekend's 78-57 loss to SUNO, the Lady Bulldogs played one of their best first halves of the season, trailing only 29-27. The Lady Bulldogs hung tough for the entire game, until having to foul at the end, which raised the score to a 21-point difference. "We did a better job of cutting down on our turnovers, which have been hurting us all season," Majors said. "When we take care of the basketball, we can play with teams."
The Bulldogs played the game without Nacori Foreman, one of  their top rebounders. Foreman is dealing with a sprained ankle, but she hopes to return to the lineup tonight against Cumberland.
