New Orleans, LA-The Tougaloo College Baseball Team wrapped up its 2012 season this weekend as they traveled to New Orleans, LA to take on the University of New Orleans in a three-game series.  After losing 10-4 on Friday to the Privateers, the Bulldogs ended the season with 12-3 and 2-1 losses to the Privateers.

The Bulldogs (4-43) were looking to end the season on a good note, but the UNO Privateers would interfere with those plans, handed the Bulldogs three losses to end their season.  In the final game of the season, the Bulldogs would give the Privateers their best fight, with pitcher John Alford going six innings and having an ERA of 0.00, holding the Privateers to two runs on six hits, with both runs coming on errors by the Bulldogs' defense.   Alford struck out three and walked only one player throughout the whole game. Alford, however, would take the final loss for the Bulldogs for a record of 1-10 on the season.  Offensively, the Bulldogs finished with one run on five hits; Donnie Norwood, Marcus Brumfield, Corlis Oliver, Jabarii Carr, and Rodney McKay all had a hit apiece.

In the 12-3 loss, AJ Sanders (1-8) took the loss for the Bulldogs, going 2.2 innings giving up eight runs on eights hits, walked one and had no strikeouts.  Offensively, the Bulldogs finished with three runs on eleven hits; Dustin Porter (2), Derell McLemore (2), Donnie Norwood (2), Robert Johnson, Marcus Brumfield, Corlis Oliver, and Jabarii Carr (2) had hits for the Bulldogs.  Rodney McKay, Brumfield, and Johnson each had a RBI.
