
The GCAC conference championship was hosted by Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) at Tad Gormley Stadium in City Park. The Lady Bleu Devils finished with 218 total team points to secure the conference championship over Edward Waters College (EWC), SUNO, and Xavier University (XU).
The Lady Bleu Devils dominated EWC, SUNO and XU in almost every event - beginning with the 4 x 100 meter relay. The national qualifying 4 x 100 meter relay team took first place with a time of 48.50. The Lady Bleu Devils also placed in the top three in six out of 12 events:

The Lady Bleu Devils also racked up points from the field events. The Lady Bleu Devils scored in the top three in seven out of nine field events. Keylantra Taylor(25 points) and Jazzmin Smith(18 points) combined for a total of 43 points alone from their performances. Keylantra finished with first place finish in the hammer throw (24.41m), a second place finish in the discus throw(36.79m) and a third place finish in the javelin throw(91-1). Jazzmin Smith recorded a first place finish in the javelin throw, (110-5) and a second place finish in the shot put throw (10.85m). Other top field performances included Dominique Smith finishing first in the high jump (1.53m). Jamara Celistan and Jonquil Griffin tied for third in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.45m. In the triple jump, Jonquil Griffin place second with a jump of 10.87 and Karley Picou placed third with a jump of 10.35m. Monique Waiters placed second in the long jump with a jump of 4.99m.
