Volleyball - Wed, Aug. 22, 2012
The Fisk Lady Bulldogs will open their 2012 campaign with a home match against Tennessee Wesleyan at Henderson A. Johnson gymnasium at 6:00pm tonight.
The Lady Bulldogs are looking to build upon the success they had last year in Coach Sarah Grams' second year with the program as they compiled ten victories and an impressive showing in the GCAC tournament, which they hosted in Nashville, Tn.

This year's squad will welcome the addition of nine freshmen to go along with five returning players that include all conference selection Etasha Keeton and all tournament selection Jasmine Green.

"We should be a very good team this year, once we are able to get our system in and the newcomers learn to adjust to the college game" said Coach Grams. "I really like the direction we are headed in and this will be the first time we have had quality depth if any depth at all since I have been here."

The Lady Bulldogs lost to Tennessee Wesleyan in a hard fought four set match last year to start the 2011 season.
