Hattiesburg, Miss - The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced today the Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending August 26, 2012.
Notes: Had two double-doubles in season-opening Lee Invitational. She had two double-doubles in all of 2011. Echebelem had 12 kills and 12 digs vs. 20th-ranked Lindsey Wilson and 12 kills and 14 digs in victory against Union (Ky.), the defending Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season champion.
