Men's Basketball - Wed, Sep. 5, 2012

Tougaloo, MS-Former Tougaloo College athlete, Joshua Marks, was voted to advance to the finals of Season Three of Fox's MasterChef.  Marks, a member of the 2007 GCAC Co-Championship team, will cook for the title of MasterChef on Monday's episode.

Marks, a 2009 graduate of Tougaloo, was a member of the men's basketball team from 2005-2007.  At 7'0 tall, no one would look at Marks and thinks he's a cook, but from week to week, Marks has impressed the judges with his delectable dishes that he prepares for them throughout the competition.

Marks advanced to the Top 6 before being eliminated off the show, but was given another chance when the judges decided to let all of the eliminated contestants come back to cook their way back into the competition.  Marks would win that challange, and it would take him all the way into the finals of the competition.

The season finale is set to air on Monday, September 10th  on Fox, as Marks will battle against the other finalists, Christine.  The show is schedueled for 8:00 P.M.  We wish Marks the best of luck and congratulate him on his success so far.
