JACKSON, Miss. -- Xavier University of Louisiana's women's volleyball team got a pair of double-doubles from Taylor Reuther in a 25-15, 25-20, 25-8 victory against Pensacola Christian and a 25-20, 25-22, 28-26 victory against Mississippi College in the Belhaven Tournament on Friday.
Reuther had 10 kills and 14 digs against Pensacola Christian and 14 kills and 10 digs against Mississippi College.
Claudia Haywood had seven blocks in the second set against Mississippi College, and Franziska Pirkl served four aces to help the Xavier (3-2) rally from 9-0 and 16-4 deficits in the final set. Moira Kirk and CeCe Williams each had nine kills and a .571 hitting percentage in the opener.
Xavier, which has a three-match win streak, will play Saturday at noon against Rust and 4 p.m. against Belhaven.
