Head Coach Naomi Washington goes for career win #40 against Rust College at The Castle
Volleyball - Fri, Sep. 21, 2012
New Orleans, LA - After dispatching of crosstown rival Dillard last night in three games (25-13, 25-17 and 25-13) the SUNO Lady Knights make their long-delayed home debut tonight versus Rust College. SUNO was led to victory by Zipporah Washington and Sabrina Scott who combined for 13 kills against the Bleu Devils.  SUNO (8-2 overall 1-0 in GCAC play) has been dominant during its 8 game winning streak, losing only two games in that span.

The Lady Knights faced off against Rust one week ago in Holly Springs, MS with SUNO defeating the Bearcats three games to none.  A repeat performance tonight would give SUNO Head Coach Naomi Washington the 40th victory of her young career.

Gametime is 6pm at "The Castle".
