Tougaloo, MS-The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2012-2013 Pre-Season All-Conference Team today. Tougaloo's Portia Craft was selected to the team.
Craft, 5'5 junior guard from McComb, MS, averaged 12.7 points last season. In her freshman season, Craft was selected GCAC Freshman of the Year. This past season, she was selected to the GCAC All-Conference Team. Craft is a very quick guard that is not afraid to take the ball inside and score. She has been very influential in the Lady Bulldogs offense since her arrival at Tougaloo College. This season, she is expected to be a contributing factor to the Lady Bulldogs offense, as leading scorer Victoria Jones graduated this past May.
