The Lady Bleu Devils (4-9 overall, 3-5 GCAC) took care of business at home in the Battlefield as they defeated the Lady Bulldogs of Fisk University in three sets (25-12, 25-20, 25-21).  The victory snaps a four game skid for Dillard.

Defensive specialist Destinee Higgins led the team with 15 digs and setter Shelbi White led the way with nine assists.  Outside hitter Carolyn Baker and middle blocker Jessica Goods-Morris put on a dominating performance, producing seven kills and six kills respectively.

Middle blocker Jamara Celistan had a solid defensive game with four solo blocks for the Lady Bleu Devils.

The Lady Bleu Devils look to continue their win streak on Saturday, October 27 as they host conference opponent Philander Smith College.  Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
