Carolyn Baker is having a sensational season for the Lady Bleu Devils.
The Lady Bleu Devils (5-9 overall, 4-5 GCAC) won its second straight conference game when they defeated Philander Smith College in four sets (25-14, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19).  The win marks Dillard's fourth conference victory of the season.

Outside hitter Carolyn Baker was absolutely sensational as she led the way with 19 kills and also added five serving aces as well as 11 digs.  Middle blocker Jessica Goods-Morris played a key role in the victory as she racked up 11 kills and had six solo blocks on the defensive end for the Lady Bleu Devils. 

Defensive specialist Destinee Higgins led the team with 17 digs and setters Shelbi White and Astasia Williams both produced 17 assists respectively.  As a team Dillard had a hitting percentage of .318 and held its opponent, the Lady Panthers, to a hitting percentage of .021.

The Lady Bleu Devils look to add on to its win streak on Tuesday, October 30 as they host SWAC opponent Texas Southern University.  Game time in the Battlefield is set for 7:00 p.m.
