2005 NAIA Softball Players of the Week

Linden Jones of the University of Mobile (Ala.) has been named the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 1, 2005.
Jones, a sophomore pitcher from Opelika, Ala., recorded 18 strikeouts and allowed just three hits in 12.2 innings on the week, helping the Rams to three victories. She earned two wins and one save in three appearances, including a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 victory against Belhaven College (Miss.). Mobile won all four of its games on the week and improved to 43-8 overall.
