MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The #22 UM women's soccer team heads to Montgomery to participate in the AUM Tournment Friday and Saturday.

"We are excited about the opportunity to compete at this tournament," said head coach Uwe Tittl.  "This will give us an opportunity to face another ranked opponent and tell us a little more about our team."

UM split a series two weekends ago against ranked oppontents Covenant College and Berry College.  The Rams defeated Covenant 2-1 but dropped the second game against Berry 1-2 in overtime.

"We played hard against Covenant and Berry," said Tittl.  "I know we are up to the challenge of playing ranked teams."

The Rams will take on #8 Bethel College (2-0) Friday at 1 p.m.  The Lady Wildcats are lead by sophomore Candice Cunningham who scored two goals against Christian Brothers University.

Saturday, UM will take on Northwestern Oklahoma State (1-2) at 1 p.m.  The Lady Rangers are led by senior Sherina Wood and freshman Ashley Guinn who each have two goals for the season, respectively.

Game results can be found on the official UM Athletics website at www.umobile/athletic/umsportsweb.asp.
